Welcome! Here you'll find samples of my work with textiles. As an artist, I am particularly interested in Asian textile traditions and their construction techniques, such as the traditional Korean textile, pojagi. These wrapping cloths combine silk

scraps onto a single piece of cloth. Inspired by such work, my current art incorporates paper, gold (metal) leaf, silk, threads, seeds and other fragile materials between layers of silk organza. They often mimic garments from around the world,

such as stoles, ponchos, tunics and robes. Such pieces are transparent and light, and move with the slightest of breezes. I hope you enjoy them, and thank you for visiting.
