The New England Quilt Museum of Lowell, Massachusetts has recently acquired for their permanent collection Withering Wetlands, one of a series of “soft protests” created by Nancy during the 1990’s. The commercial and recreational use of wetlands and the effects on the ecology inspired the large triptych (45” x 135”).

Withering Wetlands and another, later work, Solstice Sarong, will be included in an exhibition at the museum entitled Contemporary MASSters which is scheduled for January 13 to March 24, 2007.
